Gerald Thomas Chartered Accountants, an established accountants and business advisory firm in Swansea, has hired eight new staff members, with two marking a significant boost to its wealth management department.

As the company continues to enjoy rapid growth, Simon James and Josie Francis join the firm’s wealth management division, with a further four joining the accounts and taxation teams, whilst two are added to the administrative departments.

In the firm’s wealth management department, Simon joins as a wealth management director and Josie joins as a wealth management administrator. Simon previously worked for well-known financial advisory firms including Coutts & Co, Chase de Vere and Hargreaves Lansdown. Josie boasts a 35 year career with HSBC.
